When you create an account we collect your email address and the information you enter during onboarding (goals, body stats). When you scan food, that image is processed by our AI provider and immediately discarded — we only store the resulting nutritional data, never the photo itself.
Your data is used exclusively to provide the MacroSnap service — generating your daily summaries, tracking progress, and improving accuracy. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
MacroSnap uses Supabase for secure data storage, Anthropic's Claude for AI analysis, and RevenueCat for subscription management. Each is bound by strict data-processing agreements.
You can request a full export or permanent deletion of your account data at any time by emailing contact@getmacrosnap.com. We'll respond within 5 business days.
